Greg Ellis, DDS

Bio

Greg Ellis takes great pleasure in treating the dental health of his local community. Because of his appreciation for the interpersonal aspect of dentistry, he enjoys seeing different people from day to day, getting to know them, and helping them achieve better oral and overall health.

Dr. Ellis was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada where he lived for the first eight years of his life. In 1976, he moved to Texas with his family. He is proud to be an American citizen, and he considers Fort Worth home. After graduating from Trinity Valley High School, he went on to study Biology at Austin College in Sherman, TX, and then he completed his education at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX. Next, he completed a one-year General Practice Residency as well as Implant and Surgical Training at Olin E. Teague VA Hospital in Temple, TX. It was only natural for Dr. Ellis to return to his roots in Fort Worth, where he established his practice, Mira Vista Dental, in 1998.

In the time since opening Mira Vista Dental, he has gained advanced certifications in a wide selection of procedures. With his broad range of experience and expertise, Dr. Ellis is proud to offer a comprehensive selection of services to his patients so they can visit just one dental practice for all of their needs. This commitment has allowed him to treat so many wonderful patients in the past 20+ years.  He is also a longstanding member and a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Ellis also has a passion for aviation. Away from the office, he enjoys taking his small single engine plane on short trips. He has been flying since 1993 when he earned his private pilot’s license. Subsequently, he earned his instrument rating in 2002 and his commercial and twin engine ratings in 2008.

If you are looking for a dentist who really gets to know his patients, is skilled in the latest treatment technology, and who puts your comfort first, call Mira Vista Dental!
